If you have been following me on Instagram, you would know that I just painted my nails yesterday.
At first I was planning to paint my nails with some gray shades and silver glitters. But it didn't turn out not well. I didn't like it. So, I painted my nails white in the end. I was always curious about how it would look like to paint all of my nails white. I always think that white nails would look super ugly because it reminds me of "Tipp-Ex", you know those white correction fluid which you use to paint over mistakes on papers. Hahaha. But turned out it looks super pretty with the reversed gold glitters gradient on top. I feel super pretty with these nails now. I can't stop
The products I used to achieve this was Skinfood Nail Vita BW704 Milky Milky and Etude House Dear My Party Nails PBE102 Golden Bell. Seems like I've been using this Etude House gold glitters polish a thousand times. I still cannot stop using it because it is just soooo prettty! Skinfood Nail Vita BW704 on the other hand, not so great. It was so streaky and application was horrible. It took me 4 layers to get full opacity. It was even still a little streaky. If I didn't add glitters on top, I think I would need 5 layers so that it looks really opaque.
A closer picture of the gold glitters just because it is so pwetyyyyyy. Gawd. I guess I just love glitters. I just cannot seem to skip adding glitters on top of my nails every time. If you happen to know a great glitter polish, let me know in the comments! I would love to know ♥
Absolutely love the glitter gradient! It's so cute!! I've always wanted to try it out, but I tend to overload my nails with glitter and then it doesn't look as nice! But yours is super pretty! I usually tend towards Essence (beacuse it's cheaper XD) but #03 Helo Holo is a really pretty glitter holo nailpolish, it's not as holo as the name suggests more glitter than anything and #121 gold fever is also a really nice gold glitter with red specks of glitter in it! :)
ReplyDeletei like this combo! I want to try it as well!
ReplyDeleteOmg, this is so beautiful! I really want to try this too! Lovely combination!

Thank you! You should try applying little by little and then add a little more on the ends, it shouldn't be overloaded! :D Awwww Helo Holo is sooo pretty!!! But sadly I have never seen Essence nail polishes here in my country. So, the cheapest-but-still-good-quality nail polishes I could get are only from Korean brands :'( Even for these I have to purchase Online because buying directly from the store are somehow pricey.
ReplyDeleteThank you! You should try it! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Yuen! :)
