Review: Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly Watery Cheek in #2 Peach Pink

Back with another review! It's the Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly Watery Cheek in #2 Peach Pink. I was so attracted to try this product because of how great the Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly BB Cream is. It was one of my favourite BB creams up until today and I was so looking forward to try the blusher.

I never like powder blushes before as I find them to be kinda drying to the skin and mattifies them. I prefer glowy finish so I have been using tints mixed with moisturizer/CC cream as blushes. So, I thought having a blusher in liquid form would be so cool as it is hassle-free. Well, does this blusher worth the try? Check it out!

Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly Watery Cheek comes in 5 different shades: #1 Lipstick Red; #2 Peach Pink; #3 Water Pink; #4 Orange Coral; #5 Water Color Beam which acts as a highlighter I suppose.

It comes in a squeeze-type 10g tube. I think the packaging is really cute with the polkadot patterns. It is also really handy as you can easily bring this everywhere. The only downside of this packaging is that it is sometimes a little tricky to control the right amount of product dispensed each time. I ended up dispensing too much the first time I tried this. Also, somehow I wished they would just provide an English description on the packaging, not that it mattered anyway because the name of this product explains it all.

This blusher has a light creamy texture that is really easy to blend. I love how I am always able to blend it to the skin without making it look blotchy or uneven, even though I am a newbie in blushes. I find it to be really great for blush beginners like me.

It gives a dewy finish to the cheeks with a natural subtle coral color, just perfect for everyday. I have to say that it is also very buildable, so you can definitely still try this if you opt for a bolder look.

Not so sure if you can see it on my cheeks here because the lighting kinda washes out the color, but I really like how natural it looks :) Overall I am quite happy with this product and I am looking forward to try even the other colors especially #5 Water Color Beam.

  1. i thought this product was so underrated despite of the overrated aqua petite jelly bb cream. This products look good for those who have dry to normal skin but i have oily skin and i much prefer matte finishes :>

  2. Wow..the blush looks so natural on your skin. It looks like you're not wearing a blush at all.

  3. yessssss couldn't agree more. It's sooo underated that I barely find reviews on this on the internet. Yes I think it would only work for those who have dry skin and prefer dewy finish :3

  7. Damn, that colour is lovely! And the packaging is too cute! Though it's a bit too sheer for my taste (waste of a product to layer it...though it would be great for like, a project pan), but it really is perfect for beginners since you can really build it!

Irrelevant, but I am kinda pissed that I don't have an Etude Store near me though, since we already have a Holika Holika, Missha, and the Face Shop at my local Asian mall -_-

  8. YES I KNOWWW. you're like the blush queen of course sheer blushes are not your thing! OMG I am such a noob. You really need to teach me how to properly apply blush because I am always so scared that I would look like a clown if I apply too much, that's why I think it's best to use minimum amount of blush everyday :p

Seriously????? I thought Etude House was like the most famous and available worldwide compared with others?

  9. WELL...so I tried a sheer blush today...and it wasn't so bad! It was sheer, but somehow got really bright by the second layer, so I might have a change of heart now HEHEEH. PFT, there are plenty of ways to apply blushes--I'm sure youre doing it right for your face! :D

RIGHT????? RUDE. I WANT AN ETUDE HOUSE STORE AND I WANT IT NOW
