FOTD: Park Sora Inspired Makeup

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I last posted eh? I'm sorry for being inactive lately. I've been feeling kinda lazy and didn't have much interest to blog or take pictures so It took me a little longer to get the mood back and start posting again :p

Today I'll be sharing my look of the day, inspired by one of the super pretty stylenanda models, Park Sora. She is so pretty that I can never stop staring every time her photos showed up in my Instagram feed. It's like I'm hypnotized. 미치겠어!!! Hahaha but I'm sure some of you feel the same rightttt? AM I RIGHT? Okay, let me just show you Park Sora in case you have no idea who she is.

And then this is me. Please do not compare. Seriously. But at least I didn't do so bad right? It took me nearly 1 hour to just do the makeup because I had a lot of mascara work to do to achieve fuller and longer looking lashes, especially for those super short and sparse bottom lashes. Details and products used will be listed after the jump.

Products used (picture will be updated soon, I didn't have the time to take the picture today :p)

Face. Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion // Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals Concealer //  Benefit Sun Beam // Bobbi Brown Blush #41 Pretty Pink
Eyebrow. Etude House Drawing Eyebrow 02 Grey Brown & 03 Brown
Eyes. Geo Grang Grang Brown circle lens // Urban Decay Primer Potion // Urban Decay Naked Palette (Virgin, Naked & Half Baked) // Etude House Look at My Eyes Jewel BR401 // Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner 02 Brown // Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara // Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto Waterproof Mascara // Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara
Lips. Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint #3 Cherry Peach // Etude House Dear Darling Tint 03 Orange Red

Basically what I did for the eye make up was to put a brownish gold shimmery eyeshadow on the lids, I did that by mixing Naked and Half Baked from Urban Decay Naked Palette. Then line my upper lash line only thinly but still kinda visible and extend it downwards. Now only after I've done mine that I noticed that I did mine way too short :p I should've done it longer. Also I used brown liner instead of black just because I prefer it that way.

Then just highlight inner corners and a little on the lower lashline. Put on hundred layers of mascara and really work on it especially the lower lashes because apparently Park Sora has long and pretty lashes. I notice that the long and defined lashes are her signature style, well beside bright and glowing skin of course.

Here are a few more detailed pictures of the look. I'm sorry for the not so clear pictures today. My camera was out of battery and so I used my phone to take these. And my face looked completely matte here I seriously have no idea how to capture dewy and shimmery makeup although it actually is in real life. You can refer to the photo with flash below that my skin is actually dewy and my eye makeup is not matte at all.

Taken with flash.

Taken Indoor. Because I think bathroom selfies are always a lot better lols.

What do you think of the look?
Do I look like Park Sora now? Hahahaha in my dreams.

  1. I think you did a great job! The look looks great on you. :) However, I think you're missing some eyeliner if you wanted to replicate the look exactly. It looks like Park Sora is actually wearing some in the picture. :) Anyway, it still looks great!
