Amaranth Ultra Hydrating Cream

Pave your way to beautiful & healthy skin. It meets your needs. Claiming to give elasticity and moisture to the skin, this Ultra Hydrating Cream is the first out of 4 special skincare steps by Amaranth. Another light moisturizer that's worth the mention.

This cream comes in a hard plastic tube container with pump top to dispense the product. With navy, silver, and white color accent, the packaging looks very sleek and professional. I find the pump to be a plus point to the product, just fuss-free, hygienic, and making it easier to control the amount dispensed every time.

Samsung? Woww~

The main ingredients used in this cream is vegetable moisture water drops that containsRosa Centifolia Flower Water, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, and Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract. The cream is extremely lightweight which dissolves into water droplets once it is spread. It has a very thin consistency and the water droplets -the cream magically turned into- aren't as noticeable as the other product I've reviewed from BNTbox, the Doctorcos Amino Acid Hybrid Sheet Free Mask Advanced. Because of its super light and watery consistency, this cream gives a cooling sensation and no doubt the fastest absorbing cream I have ever tried.

Although it is not moisturizing enough to use this product alone for my dry skin, I have been enjoying it so much during the day, as an additional hydration to the face before putting on my makeup. Using this product gives my skin silky smooth finish, making it a lot smoother and easier to apply BB cream afterwards, even better than most makeup base/primer I have used before. Just a perfection for the dry and humid weather here in Indonesia.

Not to mention that because it is fast absorbing, it doesn't leave any heavy/greasy feeling to the skin. I know I would love this so much more on hot days, especially during beach trips, mainly because it is super lightweight and fuss-free packaging. Oh! and it smells heavenly, reminds me of a flower garden. So lovely!

Do you usually use primer before foundation/BB cream application?
Do you prefer ones that mattifies or hydrating?
