I believe the main idea of this Hybrid Mask is that it contains all the greatness from sheet mask, only to not include the wasteful disposable mask sheet, thus fuss-free and obviously eco-friendly. Just so you know, I'm not a fan of sheet masks. I love mask packs -not so sure if this is how it's usually called, but what I mean by mask packs are those masks that comes in jar which you directly apply to your face- so even based on this point only, I could see myself loving this product. Is it as amazing as it is described?
Doctorcos Amino Acid Hybrid Sheet Free Mask Advanced packed in a white box with silver seal which leaves dotted mark when it is opened. Just a really cute way to tell whether yours is still sealed or not when you first got it. It comes in a white plastic jar which is surprisingly really light although containing 110ml much of product. Other masks pack that I've been loving such as Laneige Sleeping Pack & Skinfood Rice Mask Wash-Off are not as light even though they contains similar amount of product. Another plain and straightforward designed product but never judge a product by its packaging.
This mask has white, slightly opaque, and gel-like consistency that somewhat has thick texture to it but will turn heavenly into water droplets once it is spread on your face. It was a shocking experience when I first tried it as I imagined this to have thicker consistency.
Can you see the water droplets? Magical isn't it? I am in love with it! Instead of giving my skin a thick and sticky feeling, this one glides nicely onto your skin like there's no tomorrow. It feels really light, provides cooling sensation, and gives silky finish to the skin. Probably not gonna be moisturizing enough for my dry skin to use during the night but it is definitely awesome to use in the morning when I want quick and refreshing addition to my morning routine. Not too mention that because it is light, it doesn't feel too heavy to apply under the hot climate here in Indonesia. I can definitely see this loved by people with oily/combination skin too.
Here is a little before and after comparison to show how it worked on oily skin with a dry patches here and there.
Doctorcos Amino Acid Hybrid Sheet Free Mask Advanced definitely deserves more love! Highly recommended, especially you who loves fuss-free product and those who doesn't have much pampering time. You can get this product for $13 on KoreaDepart (on sale) / $23 on ebay
