Most Popular Posts on the blog!

I know I actually haven't posted a lot but I just wanted to share a few popular posts on the blog so far! I am so glad some of you find these posts to be useful. Nothing is better than seeing those pageviews increasing every day. Thank you for the never-ending support!

Faceshop rice water bright cleansing foam
I am actually really surprised to see how this post is really popular. I get over 10,000 views on this post alone and still counting because I still get views daily coming from google search about this cleansing foam. Well, I totally get it though because I, myself, am a fan of this product too!

Skinfood Salmon Brightening Eye Cream
I've seen many great reviews on this eye cream. Sadly it does not work that well on me!

Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint in #3 Cherry Peach
This is so far my favourite lip product! The colour is so pretty and not drying like most lip tints are~ I am on my second bottle already and still bring it everywhere with me :D The packaging is different now though, the bottle is curved and a little taller.

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
I am super addicted to this product! Kudos to Clinique for inventing this amazing moisturizer~ Definitely perfect for you who has super dry and sensitive skin!

I am trying to post more regularly and add more variety to the blog! Hopefully you won't feel bored with the blog, kekekeke! I have lots of other works to do so I might not be able to post again this week. Don't worry I will be back very soon with two other makeup collaboration and tutorials :D♥

Top Favourite Blogs at the Moment

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing with you a few of my favourite blogs. I have actually a few others that I don't mention on this post but these 4 are my most most most favourites. I follow these blogs on GFC, Bloglovin, and/or Pinterest just so that I wouldn't miss any post. When I don't see them updating, I would go directly to their websites and check myself because I am that addicted! :D I'm sure you guys would love to know these blogs and maybe will love them as much as I do~ So, here they are!

The blog consists of mainly eye makeup and hair tutorials. I am so loving thebeautydepartment because they always upload the most easy-to-follow tutorials. The tutorials always use high quality images and are very very clear. No or less words even need to be written to explain because the images themselves explain everything. They also blog a few beauty tips and tricks which are really helpful. I suggest you go and check on the blog now because I'm sure you won't regret. If you happen to have Pinterest, I'm sure you have seen a lot of their tutorials :D Aren't they amazing?

Abeautifulmess is more into home decor, DIYs, recipes, and occasionally fashion! Their home decor and DIYs, written by Elsie, are my main interests in the blog! I love how they always provide step-by-step high quality images that are really easy to follow. The quality of pictures on abeautifulmess are extremely good, they are really bright and really interesting! I can never stop staring whenever they post a new blog post. I love looking at the recipes too, written by Emma, because they just look really appealing, they never fail to make me hungry. I have never try and cook one for myself but I might try to cook something someday and I'm sure abeautifulmess will be the first I go to look for recipes.

Mywomenstuff is a blog full of makeup and beauty reviews, from budget to high-end products. The blog also includes many many discussions, as well as tips and tricks. The one thing that I love so much from mywomenstuff is how Paris B, the author, always provide reviews with super detailed swatches. She always post review of products with swatches on hand, how it looks like applied, as well as full face shots to show how the products actually looks like on her. Amazing reviews. Another thing that I love so much about her blog is how she always post blogging tips, not only one or two but hundreds of them! She is not afraid to share, this is one point that I love so much from her~ I have learnt a lot from those tips and is waiting patiently for more! :D

Last but not least, my most favourite Indonesian blog. My-lovely-sister is a beauty blog by two sisters called Ai Ni and Eve. You can find many beauty reviews and makeup tutorials on the blog. The reason why I love my-lovely-sister is because of the super pretty pictures they took! They always look so vintage but yet very clear, just really pretty! My most favourite part of the blog is the Thursday's tips. They always post useful and interesting tips every Thursday, a post that I always look into, be it about makeup, skincare, hair, diy, or photography. If you do not understand Indonesian, you can always use the translate widget on the sidebar! :D

2NE1 Comeback Home Inspired Makeup Collaboration

Hello everyone! This is my first time ever to do a makeup collaboration with fellow bloggers. All thanks to Sasya from HelloSasyachi, who invited me to join this collaboration :D I was sooo happy and excited when she contacted me because IT'S HER WHO MESSAGED ME. OMG. Still couldn't believe it! :P It was a quick one, I barely had the time but I just just couldn't reject it. Okay, stop the nonsense and let's get onto the tutorial!

It's 2NE1 Comeback Home :D If you haven't seen it, go to youtube and search for it! I am so addicted to the song already~ I chose to do Dara's makeup look because she had straight hair and OF COURSE because she is so gorgeous! So, here is a noob tutorial made by a newbie. I know my makeup is not even close to Dara, there were lots and lots of mistakes and flaws but I had so much fun doing this.

Is anyone having the same problem?

This is going to be a quick post. I just wanted to ask if anyone is having the same problem or is it just me. I can't follow anyone using GFC. It's been like this for the almost 2 weeks. It's like everytime I sign in on GFC, it keeps saying this.

"We're sorry...We were unable to handle your request. Please try again or return a bit later."

It's freaking annoying. There are a few amazing blogs that I recently came accross that I haven't been able to follow. It sucks because I have been relying on GFC to get recent updates on new posts. Well, I have been using bloglovin too but it is just a lot easier to follow on GFC because I go to the blogger dashboard more often.

Oh well, just wanted to know if anyone is having the same problem. If you happen to know how to overcome this problem, let me know!

Review: Kojie.san Skin Lightening Soap

Ever heard about Kojic Acid? It is completely natural and have been used a lot nowadays in skin lightening cosmetic products. Although its safety is still a question, many states that it is actually safe to use. The product I'll be reviewing today is a soap from Kojie.san, originated from the Philippines, which is made mainly from Kojic Acid.

Oh yeah, I'm not so sure about its availability in other countries, so I'll be using Indonesian in this post! :D If you still would like to know, you can always use the translate widget on the sidebar to translate the post to your language. Seems like the translate widget doesn't work well :p You can always leave questions by leaving comments! I'll get back asap :)

FOTD & Tutorial: Korean Style Eyeliner Look

I did a simple Korean style eyeliner look yesterday. I don't usually do an eyeliner look but yesterday I just feel like doing it. I don't have any picture to explain how I did these but I will just write it out for you :)

How to achieve ulzzang style eyeliner look:
  1. Prime your eyes. I used Etude House Proof10 Eye Primer
  2. Apply subtle shimmer shadow all over the lid to give the wet and sparkly look to the eyes ;) I used a thin layer of Etude House Look at My Eyes Jewel BR401 Bronze Bangle to give a subtle rose gold colour to the eyes.
  3. Tightline your upper lash line. Draw a thin line and extend the line following your natural eye shape. I used brown because I like how it is softer, oh well mainly because I think black eyeliner don't look really good on me.
  4. Connect the line to your lower lash line, creating a subtle V-shape on the outer corner of your eyes.
  5. Line the first half of your lower lash line with white, beige, or gold shimmery shadow or pencil liner to give a brightening effect to your eyes.
  6. Apply mascara.
  7. Apply blush to the apple of your cheeks. I used a little bit of Tony Moly Tint in Cherry Pink mixed with Tony Moly Luminous Pure Aura CC Cream to achieve a natural flushed cheeks. Check out my review on Tony Moly Tint to see how I mixed the two and for swatches!
  8. Don't forget to fill your eyebrows.
  9. Last step, finish off your look with gradient lips. You're done!

What do you think of the look?

If you happen to copy the look, don't forget to tag me on facebook or instagram! Or you can just leave a link to your picture. I would love to see how it looks on you :)

Review: Maybelline Clear Smooth Minerals Healthy Natural Concealer

Hello girls, I am back with another review~ This time it is a product from Maybelline called Clear Smooth Minerals Healthy Natural Concealer. Yep, I know, sounds really complex huh? They should definitely rename this as I keep forgetting its name just because it's too long. I've been a fan of Maybelline products especially their mascaras and lip balms. So, I decided to give their concealer a try. Let's get onto it!

Review: Etude House Look at My Eyes Jewel BR401 Ethnic Bronze Bangle

If you have been reading my blog, I have been mentioning this particular eye shadow a few times on FOTD blog posts. I've been looking for the cheaper alternative of Chopper from Urban Decay 2 Naked Palette ever since it existed, just because it is super pretty! Probably even the only thing I think Naked Palette 2 is worth buying after purchasing the original Naked Palette.

Then I found Etude House Look at My Eyes Jewel BR401 and I thought it's pretty similar, the colour is pretty, and it's cheap! So, why not? If you would like to know if this eye shadow was worth purchasing then keep reading!

NOTW: white and gold

If you have been following me on Instagram, you would know that I just painted my nails yesterday.

New Layout!

Yay to the new layout! Check out the blog, if you have not seen it~ ♥

I have been wanting a cleaner and simpler header design. Anddddd~~ I finally did it and thought that it would be perfect if I would just change the whole blog layout too to match the simplicity. So, I basically spend the whole yesterday making a new blog layout, of course, still referring to the old layout because I still love how it looks. I still feel like there are still a few elements that need to be redone. I don't know. I guess it would be the transition in between each posts. But I will finish it here and will edit the layout again when I know what to do.

woots. Just changed the sidebar to the right because I think it would be better? Idk.

So, what do you think? Is the blog easy to read?
Leave suggestion if you have any! I would love to hear them :D

Review: Clinique Long Last Glosswear SPF15 #14 Cabana Crush

I have had this mini-sized Clinique lip gloss for a while. I got it from the gift set I received from my Clinique Haul last time. At first I was not so sure that I am going to use this because I simply hate how lipsticks and lip glosses smell. I finally decided to try it last month and I love it!

Review: Urban Decay Naked Palette

I finally own an Urban Decay Naked Palette. Yay! I know I have actually owned this for while, but I haven't had the time to really get into it and do a review. Today, I'm going to show you the infamous Naked Palette from Urban Decay. Keep reading!

Who doesn't know this particular eyeshadow palette. It's so famous that literally almost everyone would have at least one naked palette. Am I right? If you do not have this yet, don't worry because you will know why it is so pretty and what's so great about this palette. Very soon.
