New Blog Layout

If you are following me on Facebook / Twitter or have been visiting the blog this past week, then you would know that I am working on a new blog layout. I am so happy to announce that it is finally done! I have been wanting to give the blog a change since the past few months because the last one was lacking in so many points, it was messy and all over the place, so bad in terms of mobile view, and it was just too plain.

I was so bored looking at it so I thought why not have a better layout. I thought it would be a good change too before the blog reaches 2 years old in June. Oh well, I am obsessed with blog layout. I envy blogs with amazing layout design, I literally stare at them because they are so pretty. I subscribe to a lot of blogs that shares about templates and CSS because I want to learn more. Whenever I stumble on blogs with amazing layout and design, I would always feel so inspired to make mine look better.

So, I finally modified mine. I followed a few CSS tutorials and read a lot of articles, because I know what I want but I have no idea how to do it myself. I basically tried so many things, although believe it or not, I have no idea what I was doing. Re-designed the header too as the old one didn't look quite right with the new layout.

It's finally done! and the good news is, it is mobile and tab friendly! I had to make sure it was mobile friendly because if you haven't already know this, since April 21st, Google changed the mobile search ranking, based on the site's responsiveness. Meaning that if your site is mobile friendly, it will be ranked up on google search result. To check if your site is mobile-friendly, you can examine with the Mobile-Friendly Test.
