Have you ever heard of these Australian brands, Frank Body & Blackout? These two are handmade natural brands, that are raved by many beauty bloggers! I was really excited to know that these are available to get here in Indonesia.
FRANK BODY COFFEE SCRUB
A coffee scrub packed with sweet almond oil, orange essence, vitamins and minerals to target dry skin, stretch marks, cellulite, eczema, psoriasis, varicose veins, acne and scarring. It will also make your skin smooth and silky like a baby.
The packaging wins my heart! It just looks really natural, eco-friendly, yet very cute with the graphics and simplicity. Coffee Scrub? Oh my God, I am a coffee lover, and I was really shocked when I first knew about this product. It's basically grounded coffee! At first I was afraid to put this on my skin, because don't you think coffee is just too harsh for the skin, especially because they are not that fine.
Here's a detail of the texture, can you see the grounded coffee & brown sugar? The texture is actually very sand-like, with only a little bit of moisture holding them together. Before I tried this, I thought it's gonna be more mushy since it contains oil. Surprisingly, it still feels really moisturizing and you can clearly feel the almond oil in it!
I love it so much! My skin feels baby soft every time I use it. The only thing that bothers me was that it is such a mess in my bathroom after scrubbing with this, since the grounded coffee is quite heavy, so you need to really spray water all over the shower area to ensure that the coffee go down the drain. Also, even though the packaging is cute and all, it makes it quite a hassle because I need to store them away from the water - which means the shower area - and transfer an amount that I want to use to another container every time I need to scrub my skin.
Other than those, nothing! This product is worth checking out, especially for those special days when you want to have baby soft smooth skin. Totally guaranteed your skin will love it!
BLACKOUT MASK
Blackout Face Mask is a 100% natural treatment which uses Activated Charcoal and Coconut Oil to take away any impurities while hydrating and firming your skin. It gives your skin a break from makeup and products, by drawing out dirt and oils.
Wait what?! Charcoal? and yes, it's black (super black) in color! How fascinating. This is my newest must-have face mask! Why? Because it's freaking awesome. I wasn't sure about this at first because my previous experience with dark-colored mask wasn't that good.
This face mask works like magic to my skin! It's such a hard work to rinse after masking session because the charcoal is like glued to your skin. I need at least 3-5 minutes to completely clean it from my face but IT IS SO WORTH IT! My skin would be a lot brighter with clearer complexion afterwards. When my skin is troubled and breaking out a lot, this mask never fail me!
Although, it doesn't clear and replenish my skin right after I use it, instead you will notice the improvements on the next day. It's weird but I don't mind as long as it really works, and this works hella good! My cousins tried it and they loved it too. I'm pretty sure you will too. I am definitely repurchasing when I am done with mine, and I think it'll stay as a favorite for quite some time - or maybe forever! ♥
