Around 2 weeks ago, I was invited to an intimate dinner by L'Oréal Paris Indonesia, introducing their newest lipstick collection - La Vie En Rose - and the new brand ambassador, Maudy Ayunda. It was such an awesome night, like the previous L'Oréal gathering I attended. It was intimate, like a girls' night to share and chit chat with each other. It was also an amazing opportunity to meet Maudy too!
Anyway, let's move on because today I'm not gonna go in details about the event, but let's talk deeply about the La Vie En Rose Lipsticks. Color Riche Star Collection brings the pink that's designed special for Indonesian women. Each color is inspired by each of L’Oréal Paris brand ambassador, hence the names Eva, Blake, Liya, Aishwarya, Doutzen, JLo.
Why PINK? A color that is playful yet delicate.
To create the perfect pink, L’Oréal Paris Laboratories develop a formula filled with micro mother-of-pearls and velvety pigments for a more radiant and intense finish.
L'Oréal La Vie En Rose Collection has stunning 6 pink shades available in Indonesia: Eva, Blake, Liya, Aishwarya, Doutzen, JLo. The texture of the lipstick is very creamy, easy to apply and blend on the lips. Quite pigmented and moisturizing despite the matte finish. The micro pearls leaves a slight sheen on the lips when photographed closely, that's why it looks a little glossy on the swatches below but the finish is actually matte in real life. You also need to be careful with the lighter shade, as application can be a little patchy. A little tip for me is to apply it thicker with multiple layers to build the color intensity.

Now, let's see each of them in detail! I did 2 types of swatches on the lips, first is the full lips look, followed by my preference of wearing the lipstick, Korean gradient lips ♥
Eva
Eva / Nymphea is a soft pink with a touch of peach tone. It has a warm undertone and might be the perfect MLBB shade for those with darker skin tones. The color is a little bit too deep as an MLBB for me if used on full lips, but look really natural with gradient style.
BLAKE
LIYA
Liya / Fuschia as it is called is a bright fuchsia shade. It has blue undertones and is very vibrant. This shade is a lot more pigmented and applies better than the first two.
AISHWARYA
Aishwarya / Iris is a soft rosy pink shade that looks elegant and soft at the same time. It actually look really pretty with gradient style on me.
DOUTZEN
Doutzen / Camelia is a bright and vibrant blue based pink shade. It's a very feminine shade and can look a little bit purplish on me.
JLo
JLo / Rose Lotus is a very deep pink with a combination of deep red and a touch of purple for a sophisticated look. It can look very deep and dark on darker skin tones but on me, it looks like a berry shade. A very pretty shade for a rosy gradient look as it is very bright yet deep and pigmented. It also brightens up skin tone. My favorite from the 6 shades.

Here's how it looks like in real life, very matte. So don't worry about the sheen on the swatches above. Also, please pardon the color. I was using Doutzen, the color is a pinker in real life but my camera just decided to pick it as purple.
