X2 Bio Lace Circle Lens Review in Black

It's been a long time since my last circle lens review, eh? Today I have a unique circle lens that just launched a few weeks ago, it's the X2 Bio Lace series in Black color. and yes you read it right, it's a "lace" circle lenses. Interesting isn't it?!

Mine is in Black, but actually this circle lens is available in 7 colors: Pink, Lime Green, Blue, Yellow, Brown, Grey, and Black. Another unique concept of these lenses, aside from its cute lace pattern is how each lenses comes in a packaging with a pair of false lashes! Each color comes with different false lashes design. The idea of it makes me squeal so much when I first heard about X2 Bio Lace. So cute!

This is basically how the pattern of the lenses look like. It's very black and very detailed. The false lashes that comes together with it, taylor, is not exactly my type of falsies. They look very fake, shiny, and unnatural. Well, to be honest, I didn't even want to try it on because these one by one lashes are not my style. But probably the other false lashes that comes with the other color would be better. I haven't seen the other in real, so I can't say much about it.

The pattern of the lenses is very unique. It shows really well on the eyes and gives a 5-out-of-5 enlargement effect. In fact, they make my eyes look super defined and dolly. It might not be everyone's cup of tea though, because it enlarged the eyes in a very unnatural kind of way.

I personally am not a fan of how black lenses look on me and this one is not an exception either. It gives me that huge alien eyes as it almost covers all of the white area of my tiny eyes. Also, the lace makes me look like I have spikey iris, haha sounds weird? But if you are into black lenses and those huge iris look, then you might like this one. It is unique and it can give an interesting look to the eyes.

Comfort wise, not so good. It doesn't feel right when I pop them on, like I have something pokey in my eyes. I'm not sure if it's just because I haven't given them a good 8 hours soak they needed or it's because of the new contact lenses liquid I just got, but they certainly do not feel as comfortable as other lenses that I use on most days.

I will try them on again very soon and will update here again if I feel different about this. If you are into cute kawaii style then you might actually love these, I definitely recommend you to try the pink or blue or grey though, they look really pretty :p What do you think?

UPDATE 2016-07-08 -------------------------------

After soaking them for quite some time, I feel that they are wayyyy more comfortable than the first time I tried them. Comfort was okay, just like any other circle lenses. Anyway, just wanted to update of how they look like on me more clearly so you understand what I mean with spikey iris.
