A little intro, Mille Beaute is a Thailand cosmetic brand which is inspired by Korean beauty products and formulated in Korea. They are pretty affordable in my opinion, almost similar to Korean road shop brands
Super pretty and girly okay, but how good are they?
I received a couple of their products to try out and I can't wait to share them with you. Today I'll be sharing the Super Whitening Gold Rose BB Cream and the 6D Tattoo Brow Gel. I will also review their lip products soon, so stay tuned!
Mille Super Whitening Gold Rose BB Cream comes in a pretty pink tube packaging with gold reflective lid. I'm super in love with the packaging and I feel like this is a perfect product to bring around for travel because it's soooo pretty and size is just perfect. Super cute, alright.
Using Rosa Damascena Flower, Water, and Gold as the main ingredients, this BB Cream stimulate cell renewal, brighten the complexion, increase skin-strengthening efficancy, and intensely supplies rich coverage protecting the skin from sun damaging massiveness with SPF 30 PA++.
This shade is just right for my skin! Not too dark and not too light either. It blends in seamlessly with my skin, giving the skin a natural look as if I'm not wearing any base makeup, just a perfect natural glowy skin. It's not overly glowy too but it still gives a subtle healthy glow to the skin.
It covers mild imperfection and redness but more layer is needed to darker areas such as under the eyes and around the nose for me. You can skip concealer and use this bb cream instead. I like how buildable it is, so you can add on second to third layer for a flawless dewy skin finish. It doesn't cake or crack on my dry skin, so kudos to that! They blend easily with a brush or sponge, you can use your hand too but it needs a little bit more time to blend.
I'm not sure if it's visible from the swatches but even though the BB Cream shade is perfect for my skin, it is actually a little pink for me. I couldn't get the swatches above to show how pink it is on my overly yellow skin. Well, it's not that bad though and still acceptable because most BB creams I've tried are also either pinkish or greyish on me.
You can actually notice if you pay close attention, especially on my selfie below. Notice how my face is pinker than my neck? It's still acceptable though, as long as I don't wear sleeveless. Might not be a problem for others though since It's just me who's naturally overly yellow :P
Overall I kinda enjoy this because of the uber natural finish it gives, the dewy healthy glow and the brightening effect it gives. This is definitely worth the check!
6D Tattoo Brow Gel Deep Brown
It comes with a brush. It has a thick gel consistency, a little sticky and super dark in colour. The finish will be natural though so no worries! The texture kinda reminds me of those used-to-be trending lip tattoo.
As you can see from the swatches above, the finish is really really natural so you don't have to worry about having unnatural looking eyebrows. All you do is apply to areas like you usually would with eyebrow pencil and wait for 5-10 minutes for it to dry. Once it's dried, peel it off and ta-da! A shade of brown on your brows that would not wash-off with water.
Perfect for those who want to wake up with your brows done or if you are going swimming or the beach. It's waterproof and it's easy to use! It doesn't hurt. The only drawbacks is that it takes practice to create the perfect eyebrow and it's quite difficult to create the perfect sharp tip. So I like to finish off with brow pencil to perfect the look. Now I'm ready for the beach!!
