Life has been crazy with its ups and downs these past few months. I haven't been really active lately because of it but I want to thank God for the great year. It was an amazing journey and I can't wait for another great year.
Happy New Year, all! Hope 2016 treats you well. Today, I want to share a few of my promises to myself for the year ahead.
Clean makeup brushes
As much as I know how important it is, I still don't do it regularly. Not that I use a lot of brushes everytime I do my makeup but still, it's important to keep those brushes clean! It's a pain in the ass to do it, but I want to do it more regularly this year. And you should too!
Takes more care of my nails & treat cuticles
Been neglecting my nails so much lately. I really need to spend more time for it because pretty nails are always a mood booster, who's with me?
Get a hang on contouring
No matter how many tutorials I have been watching to learn about contouring, it still is not there yet. I think my techniques are better now but nothing that I am proud of yet. I need to explore more and do it more often.
Always carry around lip balm. Be more diligent putting it on
Ugh, I hate chapped lips. I want smooth plump lips!
Try higher-end makeup brand
Maybe Chanel? or Dior. I never have the gut to spend my money on high end designer makeup brand because I feel like I can always find cheaper brands that work great for my day to day routine. I do spend a lot for skincare, it's okay for me since I think skincare is an investment, but makeup, I always think of them as a temporary thing, especially the fact that you need to throw them away after a year or so. I think it's finally time to splurge a couple of high end makeup products, not for bragging but just to treat myself.
Those are what's in my mind for 2016. Let's keep it short but promise to actually do it.
